Itinerary
Day 1 - OVERNIGHT TRAVEL
Once checked in make your way promptly through Security to the Departure Lounge. Continue to the Gate once Go to Gate appears on the Departure Screens in the lounge.
Day 2 - IN FLIGHT
Day 3 - AUCKLAND
Welcome Drinks & tour briefing this evening - a chance to meet up with other tour members and our local representative.
Day 4 - AUCKLAND
Day 5 - AUCKLAND/TAURANGA
The many bars and restaurants of Mount Maunganui are on your doorstep, as is the Mount itself, the majestic Main Beach, Pilot Bay, and the popular Mineral Baths.
Day 6 - 10: TAURANGA
With the flexibility of apartment living, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at a nearby beachfront café or utilize your private kitchen. The morning's are at leisure before transferring early afternoon daily to the Bay Oval for the 1st Test.
After the close of play daily you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 11 - TAURANGA/TAUPO
On arrival at your lakeside hotel please check in for a 2 night stay on a B&B basis.
Day 12 - TAUPO
Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 13 - TAUPO/WELLINGTON
Wellington, the “World’s Coolest Little Capital” is home to a vibrant food, wine and craft beer scene, with dozens of great eateries and many more watering holes. It also boasts great shopping, the 'must see' National Museum ‘Te Papa’ and a picturesque waterfront.
Day 14 - 18: WELLINGTON
After breakfast board the daily coach transfers or stroll the flat 2kms through the city centre to the home of NZ cricket, at the Basin Reserve for the 2nd Test.
After the close of play you will be transferred back to your hotel daily, or walk, as per your preference.
One evening during the Test Match we will host a Q&A with former New Zealand cricketer, international coach and Gloucester stalwart, John Bracewell.
Day 19 - WELLINGTON / UK
Day 20 - Arrive UK
