Itinerary
Day 1 – UK to JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
Arrive at your chosen UK Airport and check in for your flight to South Africa.
Day 2 – ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG
Arrive in Johannesburg where you will be met and transferred to the 4* Balalaika Hotel, Sandton for a 7 night stay on a B&B basis. Enjoy welcome drinks in the evening.
Days 3 – 7, JOHANNESBURG
1st Test Match South Africa v England, Wanderers Cricket Ground
Transfers provided to/from the ground daily.
Day 8, JOHANNESBURG
Today join our included half day tour of Soweto with lunch. This evening enjoy a tour dinner, hosted by LWTL.
Days 9 - 11, SAFARI, SHEPHERDS TREE LODGE, PILANESBERG
Check out of the Balalaika Hotel and transfer overland (2.5 hours) to the 5* Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge for a 2 night stay on a Full board basis. Stay includes 4 open top safari drives as well as the facilities at the Game Lodge.
Day 11, SHEPHERDS TREE LODGE, PILANESBERG - JOHANNESBURG
Following a morning game drive and breakfast check out of Shepherds Tree Lodge and transfer overland to the 4* Balalaika Hotel for a 6 night stay on a B&B basis. This afternoon enjoy a Christmas Day lunch.
Days 12 – 16, JOHANNESBURG
2nd Test Match South Africa v England, Centurion Cricket Ground
Transfers provided to/from the ground daily.
Day 17 – JOHANNESBURG to CAPE TOWN
Transfer from The Balalaika Hotel to the airport for domestic flight to Cape Town, on arrival in Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for a 9 night stay on a B&B basis. Option to join LWTL New Years Eve Dinner (additional cost).
Day 18 – CAPE TOWN
Day at Leisure
Day 19 – CAPE TOWN
Day at leisure - optional Cape Peninsula Tour.
Days 20 – 24, CAPE TOWN
3rd Test Match South Africa v England, Newlands Cricket Ground
Transfers provided to/from the ground daily.
Day 25 – CAPE TOWN
Day at leisure, optional Cape Winelands Tour. If you wish to extend your stay to watch the first ODI in Paarl, please contact the office for information.
Day 26 – CAPE TOWN to UK
After breakfast, check out of your hotel.
You will then be transferred to Cape Town International Airport Airport for your return flight back to the UK.
Day 27 – End of tour
